A Graduate Nursing Scholarship limited number of scholarships are available to reach those most in need of assistance. Students from the entire 30-county region is entitled to apply for financial aid through a scholarship program administered by the Foundation:
Eligibility Criteria Details:
All Graduate Nursing Scholarship recipients must be accepted and registered within 12 hours of study during a regular semester or a full-time status is approved or equivalent in nursing related health care programs. Students enrolled in pre-health programs will not be eligible for consideration. The Committee may choose to invite some applicants to interview in private.

Graduate Nursing Scholarship Applicants must be in the Heartland Foundation service region that includes the following counties in Missouri: Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, Platte, Ray , and Worth; in Iowa: Decatur, Fremont, Page, Ringgold, and Taylor; in Kansas: Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, and Nemaha and in Nebraska: Nemaha and Richardson.
