
The Graduate Nursing Scholarship Master of European and International Law (MEIL) is an intensive one-year programme leading to an LL.M. conferred by the University of Hamburg. The Graduate Nursing Scholarship programme first started in 2008. Chinese students can combine the MEIL with the Master of Chinese Law as part of the Double Master. In the 2009-2010 academic year nine European students from seven countries enrolled in the MEIL.

Graduate Nursing Scholarship applicants must meet the following conditions:
(1) Be a citizen of a country other than the P.R. China;
(2) Have obtained a law degree (Bachelor of Law, State Examination or equivalent) or be sure to obtain a law degree prior to enrolment;
(3) Proficient in English, demonstrated by being a native English speaker, having completed undergraduate studies in English, or by holding a valid TOEFL with a minimum score of 100 or an IELTS 7.0.
